Seaside, bikes & icecream
I took some time off this week, as it was half term and that meant getting out and about with the girls, including an afternoon in Eastbourne enjoying the promenade, bikes and some italian icecream.

Snowy day - Feb 04
We woke up this morning to 10cms of fresh new snow and spent the day outside enjoying it. Who cares about travel disruptions and grit shortages when we’ve got this on our doorstep.

Project366 - Week4
This week, I’ve tried to do two things, take a couple more reportage style shots when out and about and also use my little canon point and shoot a few times, as it’s proved a bit cumbersome carrying my dslr around all of the time.
I succeeded on the first point and got a couple of candid shots of people on days 26 & 24. I also took a couple of alright shots with the point and shoot on days 27 & 25. but I’m not particularly happy with the image quality on these. Something to think about.

I love this old Scimitar
As a kid Scimitar’s were my favourite type of car. I especially liked their massive rear windows and the fact they were made out of fibre glass by Reliant, of Robin fame. I suppose it was because they were quirky yet sporty.
In a field down our lane, tucked behind a hedge is this bad boy. I jump in to the field every few months to have a nose around and today i did just that and took these shots.

At new year I decided to commit to the age old trick of taking a picture a day for a year - Project366 as I’ve imaginatively called it. I plan to post a weekly summary of my photos on the blog, hence this being Week 1.
